• Avoid tanning, sun exposure, or self-tanners for at least 48 hours prior to your service.
• Discontinue the use of retinol, exfoliating acids, or acne treatments in the area 72 hours before waxing.
• Avoid caffeine or alcohol on the day of your appointment, as they can increase skin sensitivity.
• Inform your provider of any skin conditions, medications, or recent procedures that may affect waxing.
• Expect mild redness or sensitivity immediately after waxing; this typically subsides within 24 hours.
• Avoid hot showers, baths, saunas, steam rooms, and workouts for 24 hours post-service.
• Wear loose-fitting clothing to prevent friction and irritation.
• Avoid sun exposure, tanning beds, and self-tanners for 48 hours after waxing.
• Do not exfoliate the area for 48 hours; resume gentle exfoliation afterward to help prevent ingrown hairs.
